John Farnsworth is a landscape artist, located in Healdsburg, California, specializing in local scenes from around Sonoma, Marin and Mendocino counties. Most of his work is done in oil on canvas and painted on location. He holds an undergraduate and masters degree from Dartmouth College, is a member of and frequent student at the Art Student League of New York, and has participated in numerous workshops including those of Randall Sexton, Tim Horn, Paul Kratter, and Judy Butler.
